Tjarko Edzes to join international investors panel at PERE Japan Forum

Tjarko Edzes, Bouwinvest’s Director of Asia-Pacific Investments, is taking part in a panel at the PERE Japan Forum on 25 February to discuss “International investors’ views on the Japanese market”. He will be joined by Rushabh Desai (CEO Asia Pacific at Allianz) and Laurent Fischler (Vice President Asia Pacific at Ivanhoé Cambridge). The discussion will be moderated by Tetsuya Fujita, Managing Director at CBRE Global Investors Japan.

The panellists will discuss the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on international investors’ interest in Japanese real estate over the past 12 months and address topics such as: which sectors and strategies will attract the greatest interest; how investors are dealing with challenges such as travel restrictions and online due diligence; and whether they expect to invest more in Japan in coming years.

This year’s event celebrates the 10^th anniversary of the PERE Japan Forum and the international private equity real estate publication will host virtual networking sessions and live discussions with Japan's most influential institutional investors, fund and asset managers, strategic partners and advisors.
