Bouwinvest is buying all 75 rental homes in Amsterdam’s Kop Zuidas project. The asset manager signed a turnkey agreement for the apartments at the ProVaDa with real estate developer AM.

The homes, designed by the architects’ firm Studioninedots, have a floor height of 3 metres, large windows and spacious balconies. They will be rented out in the liberalised sector. The underground car park offers 51 parking spaces and is accessible by lift.

Building is scheduled to start in September and the apartments will be delivered at the end of 2015. The construction is being executed by BAM Woningbouw. “We follow an active investment policy in Amsterdam,” says Michiel de Bruine, Head of Bouwinvest’s Residential Asset Management. “We are investing in various complexes of liberalised apartments in the city, such as in Eenhoorngebied, Overhoeks and Houthaven. The Kop Zuidas project is a great addition to our existing portfolio, as it is located on the south side of the city, where there is a high demand for rental homes in the liberalised sector”.

Last year, Bouwinvest and AM won a contract for developing 197 rental apartments for the liberalised sector in Zuidas (Summertime).
