The Bouwinvest Residential Fund aims to invest €600 million in acquisitions by 2020. In order to realise the growth target, the fund has consolidated its acquisition team.

Bouwinvest will mainly focus its residential investments on urban areas such as the central Dutch conurbation of Holland Metropole, and the main cities of the southern province of Noord Brabant. The fund is targeting sustainable homes in the mid to high end liberalised rental sector.

The fund has consolidated its acquisition team by promoting Christian Schouten to Team Coordinator of Residential Acquisitions. Besides the management of the team, he will be responsible for acquisitions in Amsterdam, Utrecht and the East of the Netherlands.

Casper Hulsman is the newest addition to the team. As Manager of Residential Acquisitions, he will be responsible for realising the growth targets of the fund in The Hague, Leiden and the western areas of the province of Noord-Holland. Hulsman’s appointment was an internal promotion, after having worked at Bouwinvest for over 10 years as a development manager. Previous to that he held similar positions at AM and Kristal.

Other team members include Hielke Bokma (responsible for Rotterdam, Delft and Brabant) and commercial assistants Remco Winia and Maurits Jongebreur.
