Bouwinvest’s Director of Dutch Residential Investments, Michiel de Bruine, has been appointed as a board member for the Dutch Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). ULI provides leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.

The National Councils are ULI’s country networks which organise local events and activities. In Europe, there are 14 National Councils that bring together a variety of public and private stakeholders to find solutions and build consensus around land use and development challenges.  They provide an opportunity to influence local land use policy by facilitating the exchange of knowledge between industry experts and community leaders through educational forums, conferences, project tours and community outreach programmes.

Michiel de Bruine said: “I’m honoured to be joining the board of ULI’s Dutch Council. The organisation is at the cutting edge of new ideas in urban land use and so this position is directly applicable to my role within Bouwinvest. I will also have the opportunity to share Bouwinvest’s best practice experience in investment and sustainability as the leading institutional real estate manager in the Dutch market.”
