Dutch institutional real estate investment manager Bouwinvest REIM has reinforced its research team in response to a rapid rise in assets under management and further projected expansion, with the appointments of Jeroen Jansen and Jan-Thijs Koster.

Jeroen Jansen joins as a Senior Market Analyst from real estate advisor Savills where he was head of research. Prior to that he worked for Dutch residential investor Vesteda and Ahold Real Estate. Jansen is professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), where he is chairman of the Research & Innovation professional group within the Netherlands.

Jan-Thijs Koster joins Bouwinvest as a Junior Market Analyst. He will focus on research in the healthcare and residential real estate sectors. Koster was previously studying at the University of Groningen where he specialised in commercial real estate and area development. He also completed an internship at French listed retail real estate company Klépierre as a Financial Asset Management Analyst.

The research department is the cornerstone of Bouwinvest’s investment process, analysing Dutch and international investment opportunities, advising its business units and offering insights and views on the markets. With Bouwinvest’s AUM expected to grow to over €11 billion in the coming three years, the research team has been provided with the additional resources required to deliver high quality analysis to inform the company’s global investment decisions.
