Bouwinvest has appointed three new specialists to reinforce the management of its Dutch Office Fund. The Office team led by Bas Jochims, has recruited Joanne Roozenburg, Robert Schellekens and Arina van der Wulp, who have diverse real estate investment management skillsets.

Bas Jochims, Head of Dutch Office & Hotel Investments, said: “In 2016 we invested heavily in optimisation and sustainability within our office portfolio. By attracting three professionals that will each operate out of their respective disciplines, we can take the next steps in our optimisation strategy.”

Joanne Roozenburg has been appointed Senior Asset Manager for the Amsterdam and Utrecht regions. Roozenburg has 18 years of experience in real estate, initially as office portfolio manager at former Dutch listed property company Corio, then as Asset Manager at ING REIM where she was responsible for the ING Dutch Office Fund in Rotterdam, The Hague and the southern Netherlands. Most recently Roozenburg was Senior Asset Manager at CBRE Global Investors where she was responsible for the investment returns within a large portion of the Dutch Office Fund portfolio. Key projects falling within her responsibilities included the renovation and acquisition of Delftse Poort in Rotterdam, the construction and development of WTC Utrecht and the renovation and expansion of WTC Schiphol.

Robert Schellekens has been appointed Senior Technical Manager. Schellekens has been project leader at various architectural firms in the past three years and has a degree in sustainable building and installations. Sustainability and innovation will be his main focus. This combination of technical expertise and experience in creating comfortable work environments, will be fully employed within Bouwinvest.

Arina van der Wulp has been appointed Commercial Real Estate Marketeer. She will be supporting the Office Fund as a member of the Real Estate Marketing & Communications team. In the past two years, she has worked at Rabo Vastgoedgroep, as well as one year at BPD as sales manager and a year as communications advisor at BOEi (for the restoration and repurposing of culturally important real estate). Before that, she spent 13 years at Ballast Nedam as Marketing and Communications Advisor for residential and commercial real estate projects.

In 2017 the Bouwinvest REIM Office Fund will further improve and optimise its portfolio. The key focus will be the transformation of the former Citroen buildings in Amsterdam into The Olympic 1931 and 1962 and the renovation of WTC Rotterdam.
